In the 90th minute Club Atlético Atlanta were awarded a corner. Emil Chwalkiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Club Atlético Atlanta's 毛迅明 threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcos Berdoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 98 minutes into the match, 苍穹拓荒者队's goal looked a bit too open when Şevket Çağa came free, but 毛迅明 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Atlanta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
