Roderick van Boxel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Glogowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Breguete FC's Attila Iványi got a free kick in the 9th minute. Jean Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jean Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Jailson Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Caradaro in the 15th minute of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attila Iványi in the 16th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Cutberto. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio de Carvalho in the 19th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Breguete FC's Eugênio de Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Glogowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benê Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pankracy Glogowski made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Eugênio de Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Caradaro came free, but Jailson Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şevket Çağa in the 39th minute of play forced Breguete FC's goalkeeper Jailson Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Caradaro during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paolo Caradaro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Attila Iványi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Pankracy Glogowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Rosendo Cutberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Breguete FC the free kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şevket Çağa made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Eugênio de Carvalho came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Breguete FC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Berdoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breguete FC's Jailson Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şevket Çağa in the 59th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugênio de Carvalho in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eugênio de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio de Carvalho in the 93rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Breguete FC had won after a very even match.
