After a rather tough play, Ibis Football Club's Emanuel Pernambucano got a free kick in the 16th minute. Sverker Sjöö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eurico Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sverker Sjöö. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eurico Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. Bengt Nordgren hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Blackjacks's Stig-Arne Dalström got a free kick in the 27th minute. Eurico Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sverker Sjöö having to make a save. 31 minutes into the match, Blackjacks's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Peixoto came free, but Sverker Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Stig-Arne Dalström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 minutes, Eurico Peixoto made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Blackjacks's Sverker Sjöö tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 40 minutes, Cazimir Sălcudeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibis Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cazimir Sălcudeanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eurico Peixoto took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Sjöö. Sverker Sjöö dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Per-Oskar Nordstedt struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Sverker Sjöö didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibis Football Club. 3-0 became the score in the 47th minute when Eurico Peixoto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eurico Peixoto made a kick off. After 54 minutes Blackjacks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eurico Peixoto who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Per-Oskar Nordstedt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Blackjacks's Sverker Sjöö did a great save. In the 55th minute, Stig-Arne Dalström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ibis Football Club getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Eurico Peixoto hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes Blackjacks got a freekick which was hit by Åke Alin. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blackjacks's goalkeeper Sverker Sjöö, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Eurico Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eurico Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sverker Sjöö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Peixoto in the 65th minute of the match. Elias Blomkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Vasco having to interfere. Eurico Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sverker Sjöö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Peixoto in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Eurico Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibis Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sverker Sjöö breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Ibis Football Club's Rachid Baba Ali Beckenbauer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rachid Baba Ali Beckenbauer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ibis Football Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rachid Baba Ali Beckenbauer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ibis Football Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Ibis Football Club:s Acácio Vasco showed great skill when he stopped Eskil Kiempe:s penalty. Blackjacks's Sverker Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Ibis Football Club's Amauri Lago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sverker Sjöö made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After some careless play in the Blackjacks defense, Amauri Lago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sverker Sjöö. The Blackjacks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverker Sjöö should have stopped the shot. If Lauro Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
