After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sürüc! After some careless play in the Sürüc defense, Alessio Pensa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Macit Baydan. The Sürüc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Macit Baydan should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Sürüc's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Pensa came free, but Macit Baydan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Montemurlo AFC's goalkeeper Daniele Zola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aybar Ceceli. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Aybar Ceceli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sürüc's supporters rose to their feet, but Aybar Ceceli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniele Zola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Montemurlo AFC's zone, Aybar Ceceli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniele Zola came out of the goal and Aybar Ceceli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Aybar Ceceli could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Daniele Zola however easily saved by the left post. Aydemir Uğuralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domenico Tammaro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Aydemir Uğuralp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sürüc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montemurlo AFC the free kick. The supporters of Montemurlo AFC booed when Sürüc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aydemir Uğuralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 59th minute Aybar Ceceli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Zola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Sürüc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anıl Arda Tutuş to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the game, Sürüc's Aybar Ceceli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniele Zola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Kartal Ağyar kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Angelo Goffredo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Alessio Pensa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Macit Baydan. Alessio Pensa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Domenico Tammaro hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Francesco Caretti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sürüc were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
