Ricardo Jakobe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sacit Özak in the 10th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bernardo Jayvier sped through istanbul's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Batıhan Beycan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dündar Şahoğlu got free with Ricardo Jakobe in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, CART FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Jakobe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dündar Şahoğlu. Ricardo Jakobe was a little too slow when Sacit Özak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. After 30 played minutes CART FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Iztal. istanbul's Sacit Özak got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Jayvier in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batıhan Beycan saved istanbul from getting behind. Batıhan Beycan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Jayvier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, istanbul's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Jayvier came free, but Batıhan Beycan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Jakobe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sacit Özak in the 40th minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Bernardo Jayvier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but istanbul's Batıhan Beycan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dündar Şahoğlu scored 5-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Jakobe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Jakobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dündar Şahoğlu in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of istanbul booed when CART FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Petri didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to CART FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Luisito Petri hit a great ball. Bernardo Jayvier struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Batıhan Beycan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CART FC. Bernardo Jayvier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Jayvier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Batıhan Beycan made a huge save. Albino Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Batıhan Beycan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Jakobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sacit Özak in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, CART FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Iztal to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sacit Özak managed to get in a good position for a shot. istanbul's supporters rose to their feet, but Sacit Özak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Jakobe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
