The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niceto Tocornal during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baumar Cabuerniga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lico Lombraña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. janselion F.C's Jerold Landeta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chorche Ceitegui in the 42 minute of the game. Papo Olaisolas short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Asur Escajedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When Antonio Jiron fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fuego united's protests and gave Antonio Jiron a yellow card for diving instead. Rumaldo Treceño made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Papo Olaisola. Asur Escajedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Papo Olaisola went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 87 minutes, Lico Lombraña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the janselion F.C and the Fuego united players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pascoal Pamanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baumar Cabuerniga having to interfere. There was no doubt that Fuego united were the better team. Fuego united's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
