In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CART FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Jakobe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes in the game Paulino Maura did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luisito Petri. After 29 minutes of play, CART FC's Albino Gamus made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baumar Cabuerniga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fuego united's Anselmo Santiago managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paulino Maura in the 39 minute of the game. Ricardo Jakobe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Jiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Papo Olaisola made the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Santiago might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Jakobe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Santiago ran back to his position shaking his head. Papo Olaisola's late challenge caught a CART FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Baumar Cabuerniga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Pere, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Jayvier in the 85th minute of play forced Fuego united's goalkeeper Baumar Cabuerniga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Papo Olaisola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Jakobe having to interfere. Baumar Cabuerniga came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by CART FC's Bernardo Jayvier. But to his dismay, Bernardo Jayvier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Papo Olaisola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ricardo Jakobe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
