After 6 minutes, Jedrzej Haszczak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slawensitz and the istanbul players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Slawensitz's Jedrzej Haszczak got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 9 played minutes, Slawensitz's Bartosz Koperski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Batıhan Beycan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Slawensitz reached it. Dündar Şahoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Maksymilian Pacholewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Radoslaw Scigan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slawensitz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave istanbul the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Slawensitz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslaw Scigan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ryszard Radzyminski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slawensitz's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryszard Radzyminski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batıhan Beycan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tanek Wykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Slawensitz's Radoslaw Scigan got his second yellow card of the match in the 18th minute. The referee ordered Radoslaw Scigan off the ground. Radoslaw Scigan hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Dündar Şahoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Maksymilian Pacholewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. istanbul's Batıhan Beycan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patryk Kornatowski in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, istanbul's Yahya Akaydın got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in istanbul's zone, Eugeniusz Kieca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batıhan Beycan came out of the goal and Eugeniusz Kieca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sacit Özak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maksymilian Pacholewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Sacit Özak slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sacit Özak in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maksymilian Pacholewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dündar Şahoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Maksymilian Pacholewski made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sacit Özak to make the kick off. Tanek Wykowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Batıhan Beycan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanek Wykowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Batıhan Beycan having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dündar Şahoğlu in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maksymilian Pacholewski saved Slawensitz from getting behind. After 76 minutes of play, Slawensitz's Tanek Wykowski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Batıhan Beycan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of istanbul booed when Slawensitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Radzyminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sacit Özak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dündar Şahoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Maksymilian Pacholewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Slawensitz's goal looked a bit too open when Dündar Şahoğlu came free, but Maksymilian Pacholewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
