But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Esposito couldn't finish the play. After taking down the ball on SSC Special Eleven's corner Concetto Barberio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Prospero Goizeder quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SSC Special Eleven had won after a very even match.
