Aguirre Verde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berker Sani in the 13th minute of play forced LOBO 1908's goalkeeper Adilson Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zbyszko Rywin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Tande was slow to take the kick. During this time LOBO 1908's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jeremias Tande got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aguirre Verde quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aguirre Verde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernani Montenegro went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco in the 38th minute of play forced LOBO 1908's goalkeeper Adilson Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adilson Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berker Sani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lütfi Eryildiz in the 45th minute. The corner led DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Lütfi Eryildiz to fire away a dangerous shot which Adilson Moraes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 47th minute Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Gernando Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOBO 1908 and the DUBAI Palm Jumeirah players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aguirre Verde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. LOBO 1908's Jonathan Britto was substituted for Jeremias Tande. In the 66th minute, Prudencio Ixidor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOBO 1908 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Prudencio Ixidor hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Berker Sani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 72 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Ixidor came free, but Aguirre Verde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, LOBO 1908's Prudencio Ixidor made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aguirre Verde was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aguirre Verde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Ixidor in the 80th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Prudencio Ixidor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aguirre Verde was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Gernando Matos hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. LOBO 1908's Adilson Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco in the 87th minute of play. The corner ended in Nikolai Bondum almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Aguirre Verde did a great save. When Prudencio Ixidor came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the LOBO 1908 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Ixidor couldn't finish the play. LOBO 1908's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
