In the 4th minute, Osvaldo Somoza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Revolución Joao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Revolución Joao FC's Xesus Cortes got a free kick in the 8th minute. PIMENTEL F.C.'s Yuri da Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save PIMENTEL F.C. from getting a goal against them. Joel Ahonen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 何希梁's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The PIMENTEL F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when PIMENTEL F.C.'s Sergios Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joel Ahonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Revolución Joao FC's zone, Damaso Osmundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Ahonen came out of the goal and Damaso Osmundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 何希梁 in the 24th minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Joel Ahonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Romão Mourato could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Yuri da Fonseca however easily saved by the left post. Joel Ahonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergios Ramos in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, 何希梁 notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Revolución Joao FC's Joel Ahonen. Joel Ahonen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute of the match, Angel Quintana got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yuri da Fonseca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergios Ramos made a kick off. Joel Ahonen made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Sergios Ramos sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, PIMENTEL F.C.'s Joel Ahonen threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olívio Tepedino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Yuri da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Somoza in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Revolución Joao FC booed when PIMENTEL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. PIMENTEL F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
