In the 15th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taito Turpeinen to maneuver through the defense. If Taito Turpeinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Nasır SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zühtü Mirza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taito Turpeinen scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferit Ortan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nasır SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kustaa Esala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Taito Turpeinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ferit Ortan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kustaa Esala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taito Turpeinen made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Rıfat Tunay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liverpool FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Taito Turpeinen in the 54th minute. Liverpool FC's Kustaa Esala was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferit Ortan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kustaa Esala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ferit Ortan made a huge save. A collision led to Nasır SK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Zühtü Mirza hit a great ball. Tuukka Liimatainen kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Nasır SK's Ferit Ortan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taito Turpeinen in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Tuukka Liimatainen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferit Ortan. Nasır SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tuukka Liimatainen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Rıfat Tunay charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rıfat Tunay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Nasır SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rıfat Tunay to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taito Turpeinen in the 70th minute of play forced Nasır SK's goalkeeper Ferit Ortan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes Taito Turpeinen rounded Nasır SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. 75 minutes into the match, Kustaa Esala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferit Ortan. Nasır SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kustaa Esala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Thanks to some nice moves Kustaa Esala could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Ferit Ortan however easily saved by the left post. In the 88th minute of the match, Taito Turpeinen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferit Ortan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 96 minutes into the match, Kustaa Esala notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Nasır SK's Ferit Ortan. Ferit Ortan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Liverpool FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
