The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 11 minutes into the match, Imperio Académico's goalkeeper Adrian Clis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andréas Hasselqvist. Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Santa Margarita's Eduardo De Francesco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adrian Clis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 23rd minute Andréas Hasselqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Clis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Imperio Académico booed when Santa Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tymoteusz Lemiesz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pontus Nordström. Santa Margarita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Imperio Académico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Andréas Hasselqvist scored to the left of an out of position Adrian Clis, making the score, 2-1. Andreas Landgren kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Jerrold came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tymoteusz Lemiesz's late challenge caught a Santa Margarita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tymoteusz Lemiesz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Imperio Académico getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Tymoteusz Lemiesz hit a great ball. Santa Margarita's Eduardo De Francesco got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Vidal in the 41st minute of play. When Ismael Jerrold fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imperio Académico's protests and gave Ismael Jerrold a yellow card for diving instead. 46 minutes into the game, Luciano Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imperio Académico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Margarita the free kick. In the 47th minute, Luciano Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After 50 minutes, Hilario Tab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imperio Académico and the Santa Margarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Imperio Académico's Pontus Nordström threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ismael Jerrold, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Margarita from getting a goal against them. Mauro Icardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adrian Clis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Icardi in the 69th minute of the match. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Mauro Icardi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Adrian Clis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute, Mauro Icardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Clis was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 96thth minute of the game Mauro Icardi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperio Académico's Adrian Clis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santa Margarita were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Imperio Académico for a fine match.
