In the 22nd minute Hermengildo Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Järvenperä got free with Francisco Raymond in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 26th minute of play forced MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Cosme Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Ubarna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Ernesto Elodio in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Racing Club's Ivan Flor. Afanasiy Mozolin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Francisco Raymond made a huge save. The MDQ Raptors FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Racing Club were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Järvenperä made a kick off. The supporters of Racing Club booed when MDQ Raptors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Elodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Raymond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Antonio Ubarna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Cosme Francesco made a huge save. Racing Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anísio Cosme in the 78th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Antonio Ubarna heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Francisco Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Järvenperä in the 83rd minute of the match. Racing Club's Francisco Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Järvenperä in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Cosme Francesco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Ubarna. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Racing Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
