MERLINFC's Ciro Txanton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save MERLINFC from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Hernan Cordera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernad Tixido was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. tigres de la cancha's Bernad Tixido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Tabb in the 41st minute of play. Bernad Tixido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Tabb in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Silvestre Cidro notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of tigres de la cancha's Bernad Tixido. Bernad Tixido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half MERLINFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Etxahun Burdeos made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Etxahun Burdeos in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Txanton saved MERLINFC from getting behind. Bernad Tixido made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ruben Tabb sent off a good shot on target. Jaime Henrico hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Medardo Ternero during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes tigres de la cancha got a freekick which was hit by Medardo Ternero. MERLINFC's Niceto Figueroa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for tigres de la cancha. Medardo Ternero struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Etxahun Burdeos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The tigres de la cancha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Muno Dobarral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Muno Dobarral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Txanton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Medardo Ternero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to tigres de la cancha getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Lohitzun Arvelo hit a great ball. Tolino Frontera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliverio Vicuña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Txanton having to interfere. If Muno Dobarral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolino Frontera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. tigres de la cancha's Bernad Tixido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Cidro in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Oliverio Vicuña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. tigres de la cancha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MERLINFC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in MERLINFC's zone, Bernabel Telleria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Txanton came out of the goal and Bernabel Telleria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. tigres de la cancha were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing MERLINFC to leave the ground with a draw.
