When Jerold Gomar fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcover's protests and gave Jerold Gomar a yellow card for diving instead. Jerold Gomar kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iban Sancho was the one to do the kick off. After 79 played minutes Alcover got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Durango. When Iban Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Alcover fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iban Sancho couldn't finish the play. Teofil Skaradoski kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alcover had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
