When Richard dos Santos fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Aston City's protests and gave Richard dos Santos a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes FC Aston City got a freekick which was hit by Richard dos Santos. Yaşar Nuri Baliç received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dino Pereira came out and tried to block the shot, but Yaşar Nuri Baliç slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Erasmo Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Aston City's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cezmi Yalaza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yaşar Nuri Baliç in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 minutes, Atilla Tarkan Oyalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Istinye JK and the FC Aston City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Istinye JK's Atilla Tarkan Oyalp got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to Istinye JK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kılıç Yöntem hit a great ball. Erasmo Palmeira took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cezmi Yalaza. Cezmi Yalaza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Istinye JK booed when FC Aston City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kürşat Şahoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes, Paulão Vaz made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Istinye JK's Cezmi Yalaza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Erasmo Palmeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cezmi Yalaza. Istinye JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasmo Palmeira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. A collision led to Istinye JK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Berke Açıkel hit a great ball. FC Aston City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Yaşar Nuri Baliç made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Paulão Vaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cezmi Yalaza, 1-4. Cezmi Yalaza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulão Vaz in the 56th minute. A collision led to FC Aston City getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Sílvio Pena hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kürşat Şahoğlu during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Istinye JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kürşat Şahoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Robinho da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, FC Aston City's goal looked a bit too open when Yaşar Nuri Baliç came free, but Dino Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilla Tarkan Oyalp kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Istinye JK's Cezmi Yalaza got control of the ball when Paulão Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Aston City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
