The 安徽队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 白皓 should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, 安徽队's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Vennerström came free, but 白皓 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 郝义朋 helped the player get up and apologised. Taormina FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
