The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Fortinducto booed when MardinSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayberk Orgunalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Engin Sağbilge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Abeita, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Emrullah Erengüç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Engin Sağbilge. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emrullah Erengüç in the 32nd minute of play forced MardinSpor's goalkeeper Engin Sağbilge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Engin Sağbilge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emrullah Erengüç's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Benjamin Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlbey Sanih in the 34th minute of the match. Adolfo Abeita took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Engin Sağbilge. Engin Sağbilge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Adolfo Abeita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Engin Sağbilge having to interfere. MardinSpor's Engin Sağbilge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiu Bin Zhen in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Adolfo Abeita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortinducto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Emrullah Erengüç made the kick off in the second half. Engin Sağbilge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qiu Bin Zhen in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, İlbey Sanih made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Gartxot. Fortinducto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. In the 59th minute, Adolfo Abeita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortinducto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Engin Sağbilge was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Qiu Bin Zhen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Qiu Bin Zhen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Emrullah Erengüç had several of the MardinSpor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-10 score and a disappointed Engin Sağbilge as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 72nd minute, Emrullah Erengüç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortinducto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-11. In the 76th minute, Gervasio Playo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Engin Sağbilge was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-12. In the 79th minute Adolfo Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Engin Sağbilge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Gervasio Playo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Engin Sağbilge. Gervasio Playo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-13. Engin Sağbilge came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fortinducto's Lorenzo Manfredi. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Manfredi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-14. In the 86th minute, Fortinducto's Lorenzo Manfredi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Engin Sağbilge. Engin Sağbilge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-15. Engin Sağbilge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emrullah Erengüç, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, MardinSpor's Orbay Mutlutekin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Orbay Mutlutekin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MardinSpor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Orbay Mutlutekin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Fortinducto. Emrullah Erengüç stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Engin Sağbilge. 1-16. In the 97th minute, Emrullah Erengüç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Engin Sağbilge was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-17. Fortinducto's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
