The Suprs Academia fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Suprs Academia's Gonsalvo Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Sandrinho Messias got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Gonsalvo Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amílton Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some careless play in the Poetass FC defense, José Salah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amílton Paraíba. The Poetass FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amílton Paraíba should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonsalvo Ramos came free, but Amílton Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Suprs Academia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hermínio Pinhal hit a great ball. After 22 minutes, Raí Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poetass FC and the Suprs Academia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raí Massa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. But to his dismay, Gonsalvo Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 27 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Messias came free, but Miguel Prod'Homme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Tobias Taveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílton Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Cavaco came free, but Amílton Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Poetass FC's Amílton Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Cavaco in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Sandrinho Messias made the kick off in the second half. Xavier Marinho scored 0-5 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amílton Paraíba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Poetass FC's Amílton Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them. Suprs Academia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joaquim Cavaco in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goalkeeper Amílton Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Neves. Gonsalvo Ramos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Amílton Paraíba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amílton Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonsalvo Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Romão Calçada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suprs Academia's supporters rose to their feet, but Romão Calçada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílton Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonsalvo Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amílton Paraíba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonsalvo Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Poetass FC's Amílton Paraíba got control of the ball when Gonsalvo Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romão Calçada didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Joaquim Cavaco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amílton Paraíba. Poetass FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Cavaco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. A hard shot 91 in the game by Romão Calçada from a close distance when the talented Amílton Paraíba managed to make a qualified save. Poetass FC's players were relieved. Romão Calçada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Suprs Academia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Poetass FC.
