Horea Hurmuzache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Lucrețiu Nicodim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Patrick Teles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Atlético Capixaba getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Valério Fantini hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, DINAMO's Patrick Teles threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ryszard Borcz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kaká Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Aurelian Dragomir got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valen Cash made a kick off. Patrick Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reine Isaksson in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Basarab Zburliş notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Atlético Capixaba's Patrick Teles. Patrick Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Atlético Capixaba's Kaká Garcia got a free kick in the 61st minute. Score! 3-0. A collision led to Atlético Capixaba getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nilton de Godoi hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Ryszard Borcz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Teles was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nico Tavares during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nico Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ryszard Borcz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Teles having to interfere. After some careless play in the DINAMO defense, Mete Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horea Hurmuzache should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DINAMO fully deserved thier win.
