Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jefferson do Vale started the match with the kick off. Antony Donnelly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Miguel Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeferino Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antony Donnelly during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Antony Donnelly. 23 minutes into the match, Jefferson do Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Coimbra. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jefferson do Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Miguel Baptista made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Albertus Guinea sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Antony Donnelly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karaboudjan's Miguel Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Branco in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Karaboudjan's Miguel Baptista got control of the ball when Berto Guinea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jairo Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Miguel Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nivaldo Mascarenhas in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipólito Esparteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Raí Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karaboudjan's protests and gave Raí Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Raí Rodrigues. After the first half Karaboudjan were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berto Guinea was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Karaboudjan's zone, Berto Guinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Baptista came out of the goal and Berto Guinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Alberto-José Guine got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Karaboudjan got a corner. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antony Donnelly ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Karaboudjan's Antony Donnelly to fire away a dangerous shot which Artur Coimbra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jefferson do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Artur Coimbra made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Karaboudjan's Jefferson do Vale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Artur Coimbra. That made the score 1-3 after 69 minutes of play. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Artur Coimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Donnelly in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Karaboudjan were awarded a corner. Antony Donnelly went to the cornerflag to take it. Mateus Velloso hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Miguel Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertus Guinea in the 80th minute of play. Evaristo Tolino kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Albertus Guinea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Miguel Baptista came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Berto Guinea. But to his dismay, Berto Guinea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. In the 91st minute, Berto Guinea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Baptista was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
