Teodoro Santana came out of the goal and Jhon Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Udo Nigula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Santana having to interfere. Teodoro Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Saad in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Iigo made a kick off. In the 54th play minute Leo Iigo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Teodoro Santana. 0-4. Durvalino Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Xiang in the 67th minute of play forced Leripe Lifestyle's goalkeeper Teodoro Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Udo Nigula notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Leripe Lifestyle's Teodoro Santana. Teodoro Santana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teodoro Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Iigo in the 76th minute. Theobald Manjon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Penha in the 89th minute of play. With an all-out effort, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Teodoro Santana threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Udo Nigula, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Saad got free with Teodoro Santana in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leripe Lifestyle's goalkeeper Teodoro Santana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Leo Iigo took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Teodoro Santana to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CE LAJEADENSE RS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
