The supporters of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie booed when FC Grom Wolsztyn K.S. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Fink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ömür Seyfeddin's late challenge caught a FC Grom Wolsztyn K.S.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radowit Lichorobiec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Biskupiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, FC Grom Wolsztyn K.S.'s goal looked a bit too open when István Hoffman came free, but Radowit Lichorobiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Biskupiak got free with Radowit Lichorobiec in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Grom Wolsztyn K.S.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 69th minute, István Hoffman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Radowit Lichorobiec. The goal made the score 1-1. István Hoffman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radowit Lichorobiec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Przybyciel in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, FC Grom Wolsztyn K.S.'s goalkeeper Radowit Lichorobiec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karol Biskupiak. In the 94th minute Dan Maruță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
