Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fabiano Clemente in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nico Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SinháCity FC's Nico Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Domingues in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio de Sousa in the 13th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Evandro Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Nestor Silva made a precise shot to the right of Evandro Lara. Marquês de Herval's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nico Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Dráusio Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marquês de Herval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráusio Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Cléber Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SinháCity FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marquês de Herval the free kick. In the 39th minute, Cléber Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráusio Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evandro Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A well done corner resulted in Frédson Trevisan drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper. 46 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Vale came free, but Evandro Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinny Junior was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinny Junior in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Queirós saved SinháCity FC from getting behind. Adelino Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evandro Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson Trevisan in the 61st minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Vinny Junior notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SinháCity FC's Nico Queirós. Nico Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to SinháCity FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Márcio de Sousa hit a great ball. SinháCity FC's Nico Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Clemente in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, SinháCity FC's Nestor Silva got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Marquês de Herval's zone, Frédson Trevisan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evandro Lara came out of the goal and Frédson Trevisan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Márcio de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Márcio de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Evandro Lara made a huge save. Marquês de Herval's Evandro Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Marquês de Herval from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle went the supporters of SinháCity FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Marquês de Herval side.
