Nico Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the SinháCity FC defense, Gernando Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nico Queirós. The SinháCity FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nico Queirós should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund MZB booed when SinháCity FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Kepa Arrizabalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio de Sousa in the 15th minute of play. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Edinho Alcântara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Denis Coelho in the 16 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Silva in the 18th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Matheus Savioli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund MZB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Savioli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nico Queirós made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Kaká Xavier sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Denis Coelho in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Borussia Dortmund MZB's Renan Veiga. Gernando Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Nico Queirós made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Gernando Pernambucano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nico Queirós, 3-0. In the 32nd minute, Denis Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nico Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Frédson Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernando Pernambucano in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Queirós saved SinháCity FC from getting behind. After 42 minutes, Clarence Seedorf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Dortmund MZB and the SinháCity FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Borussia Dortmund MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clarence Seedorf to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Gernando Pernambucano took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Nico Queirós to make any attempt to save it.

The wind increased when Matheus Savioli made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Gernando Pernambucano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nico Queirós. SinháCity FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Denis Coelho made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Borussia Dortmund MZB's Renan Veiga. 57 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Silva came free, but Kepa Arrizabalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gernando Pernambucano took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nico Queirós. Nico Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Nico Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Pernambucano in the 63rd minute of play. The throw-in from Denis Coelho in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Borussia Dortmund MZB's Renan Veiga. Nico Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Savioli in the 74th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes SinháCity FC got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Tinoco. The audience was convinced that Gernando Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nico Queirós was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Giuseppe Castro's late challenge caught a SinháCity FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giuseppe Castro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Giuseppe Castro got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a little luck, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Kepa Arrizabalaga got control of the ball when Márcio de Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Kaká Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borussia Dortmund MZB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SinháCity FC the free kick. Márcio de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kepa Arrizabalaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Denis Coelho threw the ball into play from the sideline. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Renan Veiga quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Borussia Dortmund MZB walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
