Nico Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diguinho Gaúcho went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Diguinho Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nico Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédson Trevisan's late challenge caught a SORRISO E. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Coelho hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, Diguinho Gaúcho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nico Queirós. Diguinho Gaúcho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After having played for 63 minutes, Diguinho Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Diguinho Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
