The crowd rose to their feet as Eustaquio Jaizki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matro Perramon. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Rene Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Universitario's zone, Eustaquio Jaizki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matro Perramon came out of the goal and Eustaquio Jaizki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Eustaquio Jaizki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matro Perramon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 28th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Honesto to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidal Cantabrana in the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Jaizki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matro Perramon was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Guillen Mijangos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Jaizki to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Universitario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Arana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Salvador Honesto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matro Perramon skillfully saved the ball. Matro Perramon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano got control of the ball when Joachim Arana tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Anselmo Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustaquio Jaizki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matro Perramon having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Atlanta's Rene Luzea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matro Perramon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Universitario were furious when Bonifacio Morentin was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Club Atlético Atlanta. Eustaquio Jaizki stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Matro Perramon. 6-0. After 77 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Anacleto Admon made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matro Perramon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Universitario's Matro Perramon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Anacleto Admon hit a great ball. Guillen Mijangos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Guillen Mijangos came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Atlanta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
