With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Admon in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henning Sæmer saved FC Nordsjælland from getting behind. Anacleto Admon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Rojelio got free with Henning Sæmer in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Eustaquio Jaizki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Nordsjælland from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer got control of the ball when Pedro Rojelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sindre Walle in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Jaizki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henning Sæmer was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thue Sporner in the 42nd minute of play. With his leg Henning Sæmer managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The wind increased when Sindre Walle made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 55th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Henning Sæmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Jaizki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henning Sæmer was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Henning Sæmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 minutes, Severino Huly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the FC Nordsjælland players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 91st minute of play. Anacleto Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Henning Sæmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
