The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristoforo Di Lorenzo during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Emerald booed when LA Lord Perez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Di Lorenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Victor Piţurcă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Armin Bondi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vermeşan in the 11th minute of play forced LA Lord Perez's goalkeeper Armin Bondi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Piţurcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armin Bondi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Vermeşan went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the game, Gabriel Vermeşan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Armin Bondi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LA Lord Perez's Armin Bondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Victor Piţurcă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emerald fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Victor Piţurcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute, Victor Piţurcă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emerald fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After a rather tough play, Emerald's Victor Piţurcă got a free kick in the 44th minute. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio De Marchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Emerald's Victor Piţurcă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armin Bondi. That made the score 0-7 after 52 minutes of play. 56 minutes into the game, Victor Piţurcă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armin Bondi. Victor Piţurcă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Victor Piţurcă received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armin Bondi came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Piţurcă slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 60th minute. A hard shot 63 in the game by Victor Piţurcă from a close distance when the talented Armin Bondi managed to make a qualified save. LA Lord Perez's players were relieved. Armin Bondi stood somewhat misplaced when Victor Piţurcă came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 63 minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Gabriel Vermeşan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emerald's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Vermeşan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armin Bondi was a little too slow when Victor Piţurcă got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-12. In the 82nd minute Victor Piţurcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Bondi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Piţurcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Bondi having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Dave Del Duca in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Emerald's Ioan Logofătu. In the 86th minute, Cristoforo Di Lorenzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Mălaimare shot from long distance in the 86th minute, but Armin Bondi was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. When Emerald's Victor Piţurcă in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LA Lord Perez's goalie prevented a goal. Emerald's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
