Gogo Fernendo started the match with the kick off. Marijan Kempes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Aquilino Felo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Franco during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Franco hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Leonides Jokin hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Timoteo Vito managed to get in a good position for a shot. As de Copas's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Vito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Felo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marijan Kempes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquilino Felo came out and tried to block the shot, but Marijan Kempes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Ruslan Reichl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Marijan Kempes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marijan Kempes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Aquilino Felo made a huge save. After 29 minutes Cantera FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Timoteo Vito who took care of the corner kick. The corner led As de Copas's Timoteo Vito to fire away a dangerous shot which Aquilino Felo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cantera FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Timoteo Vito was slow to take the kick. During this time As de Copas's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Marijan Kempes to score against Aquilino Felo in Cantera FC's goal. 3-0 after 34 minutes. The supporters of Cantera FC booed when As de Copas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikolaj Tomiczek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, As de Copas's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Millano came free, but Ruslan Reichl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marijan Kempes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ruslan Reichl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Vito kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marijan Kempes to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Marijan Kempes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Felo. Cantera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marijan Kempes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Cantera FC made a substitution. Domingo Batista replaced Gogo Fernendo. Aquilino Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Marijan Kempes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Felo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Marijan Kempes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marijan Kempes came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the As de Copas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marijan Kempes couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd match minute, As de Copas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Cisco to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Felo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marijan Kempes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, As de Copas's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Batista came free, but Ruslan Reichl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cantera FC's Aquilino Felo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marijan Kempes in the 81st minute of play. After 83 played minutes As de Copas got a freekick which was hit by Marijan Kempes. Anselmo Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ruslan Reichl made a huge save. Daniel Franco made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by As de Copas's Timoteo Vito. In the 93rd match minute, As de Copas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Cisco to maneuver through the defense.
