The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Desiderio Prejun scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Üzeyir Arıcan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 7 played minutes Delta F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Belmiro. After having played for 8 minutes, Ahmet Necdet Ongu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. URASPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Necdet Ongu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mateo Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Chesus hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, URASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duran Evvel to maneuver through the defense. Üzeyir Arıcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Chorache, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Üzeyir Arıcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Mercurio in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Mercurio in the 20th minute of play forced URASPOR's goalkeeper Üzeyir Arıcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Mateo Mercurio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delta F.C. and the URASPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of URASPOR booed when Delta F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Üzeyir Arıcan came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Delta F.C.'s Mateo Mercurio. But to his dismay, Mateo Mercurio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 29 minutes into the match, URASPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Mercurio came free, but Üzeyir Arıcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Severino Chorache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delta F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Chorache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Berkant Ogansoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Necdet Ongu in the 42nd minute of play. URASPOR's Mehmet Kutlualp suffered a concussion in the 42nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Felipe Sengrat charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Sengrat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Delta F.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Felipe Sengrat hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Mercurio in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Üzeyir Arıcan saved URASPOR from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Delta F.C.'s Placido Shantala was substituted for Jeremias Endira. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Berkant Ogansoy to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Necdet Ongu during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. İskender Cebir kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Ali Berkant Ogansoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When İskender Cebir fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored URASPOR's protests and gave İskender Cebir a yellow card for diving instead. İskender Cebir hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th match minute, URASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duran Evvel to maneuver through the defense.
