Demetevler's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hazar Tuncay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Demetevler's zone, Esat Uluşahin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hıncal Orbey came out of the goal and Esat Uluşahin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th match minute, Demetevler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murat Bakırcı to maneuver through the defense. Barış Özaltın struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Muhsin Yılkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demetevler. If Ahmet Fikret Visali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Halkali SK fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Halkali SK's Hazar Tuncay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Demetevler defense, Esat Uluşahin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hıncal Orbey. The Demetevler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hıncal Orbey should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barış Özaltın made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Baran Sehim in the 51st minute of play forced Halkali SK's goalkeeper Muhsin Yılkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Halkali SK booed when Demetevler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabit Armağan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halkali SK's Tamer Vefakar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hıncal Orbey but with some difficulty. Hazar Tuncay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hıncal Orbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esat Uluşahin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 60th playminute. In the 63rd minute, Sabit Armağan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sabit Armağan during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sabit Armağan kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Demetevler getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Murat Bakırcı hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Fikret Visali in the 70th minute of play forced Demetevler's goalkeeper Hıncal Orbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muhsin Yılkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barış Özaltın in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Demetevler's Barış Özaltın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Muhsin Yılkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Ahmet Fikret Visali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Hıncal Orbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hıncal Orbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hazar Tuncay in the 84th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, Halkali SK's Esat Uluşahin made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hıncal Orbey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Fikret Visali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esat Uluşahin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Hıncal Orbey made a huge save. Halkali SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
