Martin Bergstedt's late challenge caught a Changos Fútbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Gott&blandat's zone, Dalmacio Benat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With a little luck, Changos Fútbol Club's Daugirdas Dikšas got control of the ball when Björn Larsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dalmacio Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rémy Binder having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmacio Benat was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Dalmacio Benat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rémy Binder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
