An unexpectedly hard shot by Recep Tayyip Ortaçgil in the 11th minute of play forced AFC Barcelona's goalkeeper Mihnea Brănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Juhlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mihnea Brănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Wedd FF booed when AFC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Colin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes of play, AFC Barcelona's Petru Ghioane made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harry Hellqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Recep Tayyip Ortaçgil kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Jesper Njurenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wedd FF's Harry Hellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Vasilescu in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Petru Ghioane notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wedd FF's Harry Hellqvist. Harry Hellqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of AFC Barcelona booed when Wedd FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Lagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Petru Ghioane came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the AFC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Ghioane couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicu Vasilescu in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Hellqvist saved Wedd FF from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Recep Tayyip Ortaçgil was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicu Vasilescu in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harry Hellqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harry Hellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petru Ghioane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Isăcescus short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Harry Hellqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Patrik Juhlin hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Petru Ghioane came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the AFC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Ghioane couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute of the match, Petru Ghioane tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Harry Hellqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, AFC Barcelona's Emanuel Isăcescu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Nicu Vasilescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Harry Hellqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mihnea Brănescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camillo Aceto went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 90 played minutes AFC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Armeanca. Harry Hellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Vasilescu in the 96th minute of the match. The AFC Barcelona supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC Barcelona would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
