In the 13th minute Jonny Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Volens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erenay Barkan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoph Gebuers in the 16th minute. MarineerS FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Claus Rijmenans scored to the left of an out of position Erenay Barkan, making the score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claus Rijmenans in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erenay Barkan saved MarineerS FK from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Christoph Gebuers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erenay Barkan, 2-0. In the 25th minute, Ruud Vandenbosch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erenay Barkan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoph Gebuers in the 28th minute. Mehmet Yiğit hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. MarineerS FK's Erenay Barkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save MarineerS FK from getting a goal against them. Christoph Gebuers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Erenay Barkan made a huge save. After 37 played minutes MarineerS FK got a freekick which was hit by Halit Fahri Subutay. In the 42nd minute Yenal Okdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Volens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, MarineerS FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilla Tarkan Yalaza to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of MarineerS FK booed when De Beverpatrouille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Meynen didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Alpertunga Korcan made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, De Beverpatrouille's goalkeeper Loui Volens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Menderes Ünaldi. Christoph Gebuers struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Erenay Barkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Beverpatrouille. Yenal Okdemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Loui Volens made a huge save. When MarineerS FK's Yenal Okdemir in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Beverpatrouille's goalie prevented a goal. Harald Smits kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. De Beverpatrouille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claus Rijmenans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, MarineerS FK's Yenal Okdemir ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Loui Volens. Loui Volens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. De Beverpatrouille's Loui Volens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save De Beverpatrouille from getting a goal against them. After 68 played minutes De Beverpatrouille got a freekick which was hit by Harald Smits. MarineerS FK's Erenay Barkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Van Bever in the 71st minute of play. Loui Volens made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Mehmet Yiğit sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, De Beverpatrouille's Ronald Meynen got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Yenal Okdemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Loui Volens made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sancarbey Çakıroğlu in the 90th minute of play forced De Beverpatrouille's goalkeeper Loui Volens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th match minute, MarineerS FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aktuğ Kabakçı to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Christoph Gebuers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The De Beverpatrouille fans cheered their team off the field, for while MarineerS FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
