Armada were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Tango en Miami FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. When Filomeno Igon came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Armada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Igon couldn't finish the play. Filomeno Igon in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Graig Davenport, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 28th minute, Filomeno Igon made a precise shot to the right of Graig Davenport. Tango en Miami FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Armada's Färid Mondragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graham Kearney in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Scotty Estrada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Igon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Graig Davenport was relentless in the 51st minute of the game.
