Apolo Larrañaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose De Cock, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Soren Verstappen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Soren Verstappen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in de belletrekkers's zone, Pierre Fevre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristiaan Van de Velde came out of the goal and Pierre Fevre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristiaan Van de Velde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanio Lezaeta in the 17th minute of the match. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Lavanderos in the 18th minute of play. When Gino Focquier came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the de belletrekkers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gino Focquier couldn't finish the play. If Jose De Cock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Bernardino Payten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. de belletrekkers's Jose De Cock got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Tanio Lezaeta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristiaan Van de Velde was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainerio Huidobro in the 30th minute of play forced de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Kristiaan Van de Velde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Tanio Lezaeta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talcampeón FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanio Lezaeta in the 36th minute of play. The de belletrekkers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Talcampeón FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose De Cock made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Yanniek De Middeleer managed to get in a good position for a shot. de belletrekkers's supporters rose to their feet, but Yanniek De Middeleer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Larrañaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tanio Lezaeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Kristiaan Van de Velde made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Talcampeón FC's Bernardino Payten got a free kick in the 56th minute. Yanniek De Middeleer hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, de belletrekkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose De Cock to maneuver through the defense. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainerio Huidobro in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose De Cock in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Larrañaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jose De Cock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose De Cock in the 79th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Pierre Fevre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristiaan Van de Velde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrés Villaseñor in the 82nd minute of the match. Jose De Cock struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Apolo Larrañaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for de belletrekkers. 90 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Kristiaan Van de Velde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tanio Lezaeta. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Tanio Lezaeta sent off a good shot on target. When Talcampeón FC's Rainerio Huidobro in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye de belletrekkers's goalie prevented a goal. The de belletrekkers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Talcampeón FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Talcampeón FC.
