Jerônimo Vergílio was slow to take the kick. During this time Ogro F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Hugo de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hugo de Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Cavalera in the 12th minute. Igor Cavalera might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo de Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Cavalera ran back to his position shaking his head. Hugo de Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Cavalera in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner. Jerônimo Vergílio went to the cornerflag to take it. If Concetto Mastronardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Igor Cavalera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hugo de Amorim, 3-0. Millano Almandoz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With 35 minutes on the clock, Virgílio Gaúcho commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mosqueteiros 4EVER fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Mosqueteiros 4EVER:s Hugo de Amorim showed great skill when he stopped Jerônimo Vergílio:s penalty. Igor Cavalera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafino Nafarroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Igor Cavalera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
