With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörn Barck in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Cortez saved Lobos de Carelia from getting behind. A collision led to BK Tåfjutt getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Karol Magdziarz hit a great ball. Karol Magdziarz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ken Golang to make the kick off. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Golang in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Golang came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
