Deivid Passos started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Curiphila Eagles's Régis Leite threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lúcio Sá, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 8 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Passos came free, but Kjell Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Curiphila Eagles's Erik Vihonský slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Régis Leite. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Kjell Sjöö didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deivid Passos went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Régis Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Vihonský in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Quintal came free, but Kjell Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Vihonský got free with Régis Leite in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Erik Vihonský sped through The Best Ones's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Régis Leite. In the 23rd minute Piearres Holgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Nelson Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, The Best Ones's goalkeeper Régis Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piearres Holgado. The Best Ones's Régis Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Gerber in the 29th minute of play. Kjell Sjöö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Deivid Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Khaidir Sopandi during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Khaidir Sopandi kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Régis Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Tande came free, but Kjell Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Vihonský made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Curiphila Eagles's Piearres Holgado made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Régis Leite was left in no man's land by his defense there! Régis Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khaidir Sopandi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Vihonský in the 58th minute of play forced The Best Ones's goalkeeper Régis Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizão Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Sjöö having to interfere. After some careless play in the The Best Ones defense, Erik Vihonský kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Régis Leite. The The Best Ones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Régis Leite should have stopped the shot. Lúcio Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Vihonský kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Kjell Sjöö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Régis Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khaidir Sopandi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vicente Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curiphila Eagles's Waldir de Amaral was substituted for Cristian Vides. The Best Ones made a substitution. Washington Coelho replaced Vicente Quintal. Curiphila Eagles's Téo Vianna was substituted for Vince Van Hooveldt. After 81 minutes, Téo Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curiphila Eagles and the The Best Ones players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Téo Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjell Sjöö made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Coelho in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Vihonský in the 84th minute of play forced The Best Ones's goalkeeper Régis Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, The Best Ones's goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Holgado came free, but Régis Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Jean Correia from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Kjell Sjöö's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Alexandre Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Passos came free, but Kjell Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piearres Holgado in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Régis Leite saved The Best Ones from getting behind. Régis Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piearres Holgado's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Kjell Sjöö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Tande in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Best Ones players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Curiphila Eagles.
