DIPLOMATA FC PAB were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Bizard FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olivier Gilg took the corner. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Kenny Rothwell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ademar Fernandes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Damião in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Lopes got free with Ademar Fernandes in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisinho Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisinho Tasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bizard FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luisinho Tasso hit a great ball.
