The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Eddie Hultman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Albohm was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Marcus Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Wenerdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Strömsbro IF from getting a goal against them. Eddie Hultman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Ivar Albohm made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Freddy Mingo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivar Albohm. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Jonatan Gabrielsson's late challenge caught a Bennis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Gabrielsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bennis booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. The wind increased when Freddy Mingo made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giga Mønster in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Vase saved Bennis from getting behind. Ralf Norström kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Eddie Hultman made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Albohm. Strömsbro IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Ivar Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Kvick, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Marcus Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börge Kristiansson in the 82nd minute of play. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskil Kvick in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börge Kristiansson in the 91st minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Marcus Vase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bennis's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
