Remedios SC's Bunda Lele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Remedios SC from getting a goal against them. In the 4th minute, Dacian Măcriș fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luisão Ribeiro hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Kaká Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Moraes in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vae Victis!! defense, Kaká Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Gabriel Cabral. The Vae Victis!! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Gabriel Cabral should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Luisão Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacian Măcriș had several of the Remedios SC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Bunda Lele as he didn't even see the shot coming. 20 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goalkeeper Bunda Lele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agron Elmasllari. 21 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goalkeeper Bunda Lele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agron Elmasllari. The audience was convinced that Agron Elmasllari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bunda Lele was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Remedios SC's goalkeeper Bunda Lele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bunda Lele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agron Elmasllari in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Nelson de Andrade. After having played for 30 minutes, José Carlos de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vae Victis!!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but José Carlos de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Măcriș in the 33rd minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Bunda Lele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Gabriel Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Agron Elmasllari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when Agron Elmasllari came free, but Bunda Lele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Măcriș in the 42nd minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Bunda Lele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Remedios SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
After 50 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vae Victis!!! Tiago Gabriel Cabral went to the wrong direction when Luisão Ribeiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Chivu Quintana struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Remedios SC. Kaká Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Cabral having to interfere. Vae Victis!!'s Emmanuel Gigliotti was substituted for Agron Elmasllari. Vae Victis!!'s Fernandinho Mota was substituted for Filipe Catarinense. Vae Victis!! made a substitution. Valentin Ţirpescu replaced Dacian Măcriș. The corner led to Remedios SC's Chivu Quintana getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Vae Victis!! booed when Remedios SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chivu Quintana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaká Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Cabral having to interfere. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Emmanuel Gigliotti sped through Remedios SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bunda Lele. When Vae Victis!!'s Emmanuel Gigliotti in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Remedios SC's goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's Kaká Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Gabriel Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bunda Lele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Gigliotti in the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Sergipano. Kaká Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Gabriel Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaká Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd match minute, Remedios SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chivu Quintana to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Ţirpescu in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bunda Lele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bunda Lele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandinho Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Emmanuel Gigliotti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Remedios SC's Bunda Lele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kaká Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vae Victis!! fans cheered their team off the field, for while Remedios SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
