After 5 played minutes De Beverpatrouille got a freekick which was hit by Harald Matthieu. Garry Heijlen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Ziomkowski in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Gillis Van Achter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. De Beverpatrouille's Garry Heijlen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Grunwalski in the 9th minute of play. Garry Heijlen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Cetnar in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Gilbert Cetnar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Beverpatrouille's Garry Heijlen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernd Castermans during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernd Castermans hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gilbert Cetnar managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Brzesko City's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Cetnar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garry Heijlen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luka De Bruyn kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Gilbert Cetnar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Cetnar in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garry Heijlen saved De Beverpatrouille from getting behind. A collision led to De Beverpatrouille getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Louis-Philippe Nijs hit a great ball. Bogumil Chojnacki's late challenge caught a De Beverpatrouille's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogumil Chojnacki helped the player get up and apologised. 44 minutes into the match, Tomasz Domalik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garry Heijlen. De Beverpatrouille's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomasz Domalik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 47th match minute, De Beverpatrouille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Matthieu to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilbert Cetnar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Garry Heijlen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Cetnar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, De Beverpatrouille's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Domalik came free, but Garry Heijlen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garry Heijlen made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ryszard Falkiewicz sent off a good shot on target. Bernd Castermans hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tomasz Domalik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Cetnar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garry Heijlen was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Richmond Roeckeloos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, FC Brzesko City's Ryszard Falkiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Garry Heijlen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilbert Cetnar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Garry Heijlen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Ryszard Falkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Brzesko City's Bogumil Chojnacki got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Bernd Castermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 89th minute of the match Bogumil Chojnacki completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bogumil Chojnacki a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 90th match minute, FC Brzesko City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Chojnacki to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 96 in the game by Tomasz Domalik from a close distance when the talented Garry Heijlen managed to make a qualified save. De Beverpatrouille's players were relieved.
