The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Fábio Custódio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dionisio Figueres. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Gasso in the 17th minute of play forced FC La Masia's goalkeeper Vinícius de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luiz Fábio Custódio fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC La Masia's protests and gave Luiz Fábio Custódio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Luiz Fábio Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raúl Gasso struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Vinícius de Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Armal F.C.. Dionisio Figueres was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Washington Trevisan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Dionisio Figueres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dida Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Cássio de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Figueres having to interfere. Washington Trevisan took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Figueres. Dionisio Figueres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raúl Gasso to make the kick off. Zeca Alcântara's late challenge caught a Real Armal F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeca Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, FC La Masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Figueres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Dionisio Figueres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 59 minutes, Dida Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC La Masia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dida Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Dida Alves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC La Masia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 67 minutes into the match, Washington Trevisan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Figueres. Real Armal F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Washington Trevisan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Trevisan in the 72nd minute of play forced Real Armal F.C.'s goalkeeper Dionisio Figueres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC La Masia's Luiz Fábio Custódio got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Armal F.C.'s Dionisio Figueres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Custódio in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Alves in the 79th minute of play forced Real Armal F.C.'s goalkeeper Dionisio Figueres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raúl Gasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúl Gasso during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 89 minutes into the match, Washington Trevisan notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Real Armal F.C.'s Dionisio Figueres. Dionisio Figueres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Washington Trevisan scored 8-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dionisio Figueres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the FC La Masia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
