TAVHIK FC's Damario Letelier quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dennis-Sven Piater, made in the 10th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, TAVHIK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Astudillo came free, but Drahoslav Putna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Serbülent Baysan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Oalo in the 14th minute of play. Drahoslav Putna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Peake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Victorino Peake made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Drahoslav Putna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Drahoslav Putna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Peake, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute León Telaeche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serbülent Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when León Telaeche got free with Serbülent Baysan in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TAVHIK FC's Drahoslav Putna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Peake in the 37th minute of play. Federico Oalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Serbülent Baysan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Oalo in the 42nd minute of the match. TAVHIK FC's Damario Letelier managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dennis-Sven Piater in the 44 minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Oalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernán Diaz during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Eufemio Ehijo was substituted for Vitaliy Fedchenko. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Anderlecht Huachipato! After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Federico Oalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. TAVHIK FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Oalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serbülent Baysan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Drahoslav Putna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eufemio Ehijo in the 69th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Julio Cachero in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TAVHIK FC's Quim Larrea. In the 72nd minute Juan Alfonso Grille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serbülent Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, FC Anderlecht Huachipato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Maria Cossio to maneuver through the defense. If Federico Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Eufemio Ehijo could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Drahoslav Putna however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Federico Oalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. TAVHIK FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Oalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After recieving a nice pass, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Eufemio Ehijo tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Federico Oalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serbülent Baysan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Oalo ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Anderlecht Huachipato had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
