After some careless play in the CD.AUKINKO defense, Yeray Necochea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristóbal Campos. The CD.AUKINKO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristóbal Campos should have stopped the shot. After the first half Talcampeón FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrés Zepeda to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lolo Acharan got free with Cristóbal Campos in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Talcampeón FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CD.AUKINKO throughout the match.
