With a little luck, Poppy FC's Sertel Adıvar got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Gaucho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 minutes Poppy FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardo Araújo who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Şenol Akbaba heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 24 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Gaucho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sertel Adıvar, 3-0. Büyükada Commandos's Ronaldinho Gaucho got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Qu Ling Lin made the kick off in the second half. Sertel Adıvar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Gaucho in the 52nd minute of play.
