Sindo Pabon took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Aznar. Claudio Aznar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Claudio Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lesardo Moreno in the 41st minute of play. Claudio Aznar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half AGT Team were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zinedine Benzema to make the kick off. Enrique Pastor's late challenge caught a AGT Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
